The Jharkhand State Road Transport Corporation (Jharkhand Transport) is a leading public sector passenger road transport corporation providing transportation services in Jharkhand and other neighboring states in North India.
Selection Procedure:
1. Drivers: Selection will be based on a) Driving Test b) Aptitude Test c) Physical Endurance Test
2. Conductors: Selection will be based on written examination and Physical Endurance Test
3. Security Guards: Selection will be based on written examination and Physical Endurance Test
4. Helpers: Selection will be based on written examination and Practical examination
5. Junior Assistants: Selection will be based on written examination and Computer typing test.
Qualification in Details:
Drivers :
i. Eligibility: Middle pass having driving license for Public Service Heavy vehicle (PSV) with minimum five year experience.
ii. Criteria: a) Driving Test b) Aptitude Test c) Physical Endurance Test through use of TRP where in the candidate will have to run 1000 meters in 6 minutes through use of RFID technology. The candidates who qualify PET and Driving/Aptitude test will be selected on the basis of interse-merit
Educational Qualification:
Candidates need to have passed 10+2 Intermediate examination or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
Age Limit 2025:
Candidates should have minimum age of 18 Years, while their age should not exceed 40 Years.
Relaxation in age and application fees will be provided for the reserved candidates as per the government norms. The selection will happen on the basis of interview.
Application Fee:
General/ OBC candidates have to pay Rs 200, while SC/ST aspirants need to pay Rs 100.
